Tall Tales and Modern Fables welcomes short stories from writers in the Brighton and Hove area. We consider stories on any subject and in any genre. Submitting a story is easy:

Prepare the story

1. Max word count, 2000 for fiction, 500 for micro fiction.
2. Use Arial 12 font.
3. Single space the lines.
4. Indent paragraphs, don't leave a space between paragraphs.
5. Save story as a normal Word.doc or RFT file.

Submit the story

1. Attach your story to an email.
2. Send it to submissions@talltalesmagazine.co.uk
3. The subject line should read “SUBMISSION, <story title>”.
4. In the body of the email tell us your name as you would like it appear if the story is chosen for the magazine, an email address we can use to contact you, and the word count of the story.
5. Hit Send.
